  • Brisbane v Melbourne

Gee that was some serious defence from the Broncs.. Reminded me of our ruthless defensive form in 2013. Some posters on here have said Brisbane will choke and won't be genuine contenders.. I think they will be. Their a good team. Glad we only lost by a try up there...

The nrl would like to see the trophy north of the border this year.
    We all gotta take turns.

Looked good but Storm were firing blanks without 2/3 of their spine.Even ST Merge have a better Defence than Skeletors boys.
The world is full of Kings & Queens, who blind your eye's & steal your dreams!

Broncos will give it a shake. Both Qld teams are the ones to beat. Roosters are under achievers and therefore overrated.

I still think the dogs are the favourites this year. A full fit and disciplined roosters side will give them a shake but once both Morris boys and James Graham are back they will be a completely different side.

Melb were good at getting repeat sets, the Boncos tackled well ....but without Cronk and Slater I didn't think the Storm attack asked a lot of questions !

Either Cronk or Slater would have given the Storm the points.

Yeah, good defensive effort, but has to be taken in the context of the degree of difficulty of the attack that was being thrown at them, given that the architects of the majority of the Storm's points were both missing and replaced with relative inexperience. Good defence, but hardly the best defensive effort of all time that Gus was waxing lyrical about.....
