  • Is braith playing this way.......

.......in order NOT to get a new contract for 2012 ???

We had all the talk at the start that Braith wanted to stay and wanted another contract and the club wern't giving him one, the club came out saying they wanted to keep him.

A handshake agreement was made and since then, we have not heard of pen being put to paper.......

So something popped into my mind.....is Braith playing like this in order to avoid signing another contract ?

Has his manager been able to secure another deal, but rather than look like the bad guy, does not want to announce it until the club says to him "your performance has been poor, we will not be re-signing you", making the club look like the bad guys.

Just something i thought of that i wanted to throw out there.

I can buy that theory because he has been absolute crap, and I was one of his fans.Whatever it is he should not be playing 5/8, he is not one, never has been and never will be.

Once Carney comes back his last chance is in the second row. If he has a few performances like he has the last two weeks (not bad performances but ones lacking any sort of effort at all, everyone is entitled to a bad game but not one where they don't try) he has to be dropped. For good.

Would you call his bluff and send him to Henson Park for a while?....maybe forever?....we'd just have to suck it up salary cap wise

Yes. In fact, I think if we did send him to Newtown he'd fire up so much his form would demand selection. Either that or he'd descend into egotistical depression and make our decision about keeping him for us.
