They are massively overachieving but are about to fall to pieces.
    I'm not so sure.

Their defence has to be respected. It is the cornerstone of any decent team.

I hope our players don't have the same attitude.

the return of JWH will be a bonus, given it's a Monday it should be all hands on deck

      Roosters by 19
Even though we should have a full compliment to choose from, i hope he goes for matt McIlwrick on the bench again.

I reckon they're a very well rounded side, JT.

They have a lot of quality. Dugan is arguably the best fullback in the game atm. Widdop and Benji are playing well together in the halves; and Rein has been very good at hooker.

Nightingale is a world class winger. Aitken is a quality youngster, as is Peter Mata'utia. Nabuli sucks.

I reckon they have the best starting backrow in the game with Frizell, Thompson and Merrin. Cooper is a world class prop. De Belin provides plenty off the bench.

They just lack depth in the forwards as they fall off a bit after that. Still they've been playing great footy and have the best defence in the comp along with us.

As I said, when you have a closer look I reckon it's clear that they're a quality side now the 6, 7 & 9 are playing well together.

Last time we were sadly out of form while they were at their best. They only won because of penalties and diving - particularly that embarrassment from Aitken that has finally brought about a change.

Forget last week. That was an anomaly.

We are finding our form now to make a run at this. Yesterday wasn't pretty but it was a massive win for lots of reasons.

They are nothing. They are about to hit the skids and tumble down the table. It started last week and we will be giving them a hell of a push.

          Roosters by 20 plus.

          I can't wait.
Gee I think you are seriously underestimating them.

They are a real contender for mine and I wouldn't be surprised if it is us and them on the big day.

Hopefully we rest Pearce. Otherwise we will have to blow them away.

I think two places in the top 4 are already taken, the cows and the broncs. The storm have overachieved and usually fall in a hole towards the end of the season. I'm not yet convicted St Merge are top 4 either.

The storm are gone without slater.

We lose a game and apparently our season is all but done. We grit out a tough win and now we're looking at a top 4 birth and about to destroy the form team of the season by 20. What a week in rugby league.

That game last night was a very crucial one in the scheme of things especially when we are talking mentality wise.

Needed to win the tough ones, especially after losing two giveaways against the sharks.

You would think that after the losses to the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks that no one would take any team lightly or assume that an easy victory was on its way.

Widdup and Marshall totally outplayed our halves during the Anzac match. Benji totally controlled the game and had all the time in the world to do what he wanted. Hope it's different next time around. I hate the merge.

I couldn't have said it better myself Tommy!

Since 2005 one of the top 2 defensive teams has won the comp every year. I think you and us are the best defensive units so far this season. I honestly think you guys will take it out this year but if you don't we might be a sniff if we can knock you off next Monday night.

Dragons by 1. (as Pearce is back)

I am not saying we are taking them lightly. I am saying that we are a far superior team and if both sides play close to their potential we will wipe the floor with them.

Pretty sure we can guarantee our side won't be taking anyone lightly from now on.

Their roster has not changed from the start of the season yet I don't recall anyone taking them seriously.

The only thing that has changed is that they have been playing above their ability.

                              And that will burst.

BTW, I love Dugan but Roger runs rings around him and I would take our back row any day of the week.

Now that diving is reduced as a successful tactic they have no chance.

I think most people agree that all things equal we are far superior.

Unfortunately the NRL doesn't do "equal".
