He can never be that person because he isnt that good.
It is the fans fault and his dad media mates fault for making him out to be something he is not.
he needs a superstar alongside him to play good?????
The ability to ride on the coat tails off a better player is not the trait of the champion you all make him out to be.
That's rubbish any halfback needs good players around them. In moden footy no player can do it on their own, it's just too farking hard.
Look at Thurston and Prince FFS they are two of the best and their teams have been shit for the last few years.
Your obsession with Pearce is quite sad.

If Pearce dosn't play we get lapped by 40. He is one of few giving 110%. Pity about the number of pretenders surrounding him, who are still living on the glory of their performances in 2010. Pearce's biggest problem is that the player he feels most comfortable playing with in the halves is a drunkard who has always chosen the grog over his team mates and will probably continue to do so.
Bag Pearce all you like, but he's busting his guts out there, he just needs some support from some his supposed 'mates'.

Carney wouldn't make the slightest difference in this team.

Tonight was an improvement..The grubber appeared..& we scored off it..
Pearce was much improved tonight..Even though Prince was better "in the clutch"..
I'd like to see Mitchell's "clutch play" improve..Maturity will take care of that..Even though i know you are sick of hearing the age excuse..But in my opinion you can never put a 27 year olds brain in a 21 year olds head..
Anasta was the worry..
Bwaiff has got to find a way to control a game..i.e..inspiring our young kids when sheet starts going against us..
We can't seem to mount any pressure..For extended periods..

Pearce doesn't ride of Carneys coat tails, in fact last year no one was complaining about Mitchell Pearce.I respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.
