  • Sharks Field Their Strongest Team

Cronulla beat us because we want to play pretty football against a supposedly inferior team. They are a hard nosed team that gets in the fight in an attempt to bring you down to their level. They are not going to beat themselves on Sunday. We have to dominate their forwards in the same manner we dominated the Storm. And above all not try to score of every tackle.

I used to live in the Shire and can't stand these guppies. From what I can see this is just about the strongest lineup they can field, Barr Anthony Tupou who is probably on the decline anyway. I just hope our boys are prepared to get down into the sewer with these mongrels, and pay no attention to what Saints did to them last week. Cause you can guarantee they will be up for us on Sunday.

Barba is out. Does that change the heading?

If the refs keep them back at least 7 metres we will murder them.

They're shit, their halves consist of a centre and the worst halfback in the game. Only decent back is Holmes, their forwards are crap apart from Gallen, Fifita and Lewis who have their own weakness's anyway.

Which doesn't mean anything because they're our bogey team.

Saw the first clash and they outplayed us via being allowed offside all match and we went to pieces at the end due to dubious rulings however we seem more head strong the last few games and hopefully the mentality remains against Rothwitts gummys

Win lose or draw, the penalty count will be about 10-3 to the Sharks.

Meanwhile, the Broncos only conceded their first penalty against Manly in the 50th minute.

              Wouldn't that be nice?

Those ****s are big time ref darlings this year. We'll still belt them when it matters.

it's obvious when you know what to look for and who the refs favour at both club and playern level

As I've said a few times this year and will continue doing as the evidence of it keeps on mounting each and every week, the nrl/packer&rusty/murdoch want and will be doing everything in their power to engineer a lol@$ouff$ vs bronco$ GF as they see that as the best thing for the game and to be able to ca$h in the most!! We have to be at our absolute best to ensure that that total disgraceful cheating corrupt bull$hit does not eventuate!!

Yes it is as obvious as all f**k, but the remaining DCs of this world are still oblivious to it all. According to them there is no corruption in the world, especially in sport...............**cough**..**cough**..."fifa corruption scandal"..**cough**..**cough**. Geez I better get that cold of mine attended too!

I would think the NRL would want the Cowboys somewhere in that mix ?

I didn't realize Barba was out. In saying that I imagine they have switched Holmes to fullback which is a lot better for them anyway. I just want us to muscle up first, before we try to play some pretty football. Coz we know what Cronulla are going to do. There will be nothing pretty about their game. They will niggle away for 80 minutes. Bash and barge right up the middle.

As long as it ends up Cowboys V Roosters

JC, I was at that sharks game earlier this year. Remember we almost won it in the last 5 minutes anyway, however.....

Sharks realised they could do whatever they wanted in defence and not be penalised. The roosters did not adjust to this. They should have accepted that the sharks would be 5m away in defence and holding down in every tackle for 8 seconds. If they did, it wouldn't have been pretty but they still would have won. Instead they got frustrated, tried desperately to break the shackles by pushing passes and going for tries on every play. They ended up coughing up a mountain of possession through dropped balls. Sharks on the other hand made NO mistakes. They just beat us.

I saw that coming at the time and thought sharks were massive overs at $5.75. I cannot see us being stupid enough not to adjust this time, even though at Shark Park the offside and hold-down rorting will be even worse. Roosters are specials.

Interesting point and probably why we struggle with the Sharks despite the class differential.

We stop playing football... And get frustrated and dragged down to their level.

Robbo really needs to make sure we get over that mentally and play the game we want to...and blow them away.
