  • The Roosters forwards tonight.

    69 v 41 percent of possession.

The Roosters fowards (not including Jake) averaged a bees dick less than 130 metres
The Storm forwards (less Smith) averaged 54 metres.

Now that shows one hell of a dominant performance.

The worrying sign for me was that we kicked the cr@p out of them and still didn't score that many points.

Kept them tryless though and TBH they never looked close to scoring one.

Great defence, lots of solid forward runs, creative backs... lacked polish somewhere though?

    Edit:
Fark though, I can't help thinking Origin when I see us up against the Storm. QLD's big 3 are human and they can be exposed... not bagging them, but it's beautiful seeing a team who can expose them.

Our forwards are awesome and they've come outta nowhere!! I thought we were screwed when we lost Kennedy and Meehan. NUP!! SST, Evans and Napa... WHAT A BENCH!! When you've got the 18th man for QLD Origin unable to make your starting squad, you've got depth!!

Different kinda big from Kennedy's steroid 'big'... they're all naturally tough buggers who have footy muscles rather than d!ckhead gym buff muscles. Who's the guy picking our young forwards?

If it was a sunny Sunday afternoon ,the points would have flowed.Trent Robinson thought it was going to be an arm wrestle, so when they were on the rack he chose to go for penalty goals instead. We would have scored 2 or 3 more tries IMO.The Storm were equal first comming into last nite ,I reckon Robbo was still dirty about the loss in Melbourne hence the decision to take every penalty goal on offer..

Mine too though I've got no argument with it going to a great JWH. The forwards were awesome last night and that was one fantastic display by the team as a whole.
