That win reminded me of our 2013 standard. Energy was great, forwards dominated & we were never really threatened. Plus we kept Melbourne tryless which isn't a easy feat considering Cronk & smith played tonight.

Indeed, would have been great to keep them to nil, we should have really as that penalty that got them the goal was BS.

Hopefully we can run riot against the Sharkies, though I've finally learnt not to be confident when playing them.

Yes, that win does remind of 2013. I find it amusing that the commentators brought up slater's absence as if it were the reason the Roosters were beating the drizzle.
@2016, there's three teams I can't wait to see the Roosters beat this year - the merge, the droncos and of course the vermin.

I think they are still well below the standards set in 2013 in defence and especially in attack.

But if we have luck with injuries we will win the comp.
