Hastings is a great defender, which is very rare for young halves these days.

Hastings was impressive once again.

His little short side plays were perfectly timed and executed.

His service and decision making was 1st class.

imo hooker is his best position.

That was one of his best games, he did well. Certainly confident and made a couple of good decisions.
But alot of his service was slow and we got caught flat footed with the defense in our face because of it, especially when the Melb edges were offside.

I thought much the same thing Chookerson but the tackle I think you're referring to that injured Robbie was made by that grubbiest of ex-Roosters, fat hodgo.
Jackson certainly didn't appear to respect his elders. His time will come in FG. One thing that surprised me about him was his size - I thought he was smaller.

FM they can find penalties that aren't penalties. It was a good hard tackle.
If it wasn't Smith then it probably wouldn't have been a penalty.
Did you see the grub's reaction when SOH went to help him up? He pushed him away like the petulant little sh!t that he is. It was like him saying "don't you know who I am".
I loved the smirk SOH gave him.
