  • How many of our developed crop will play 300 games?

With Pearcey being almost certain to play his 200th first grade game this season, it has got me thinking about how many of the players that have been here long-term will go on to crack the 300 game mark. Based on my calculations from the (rugby league project website) the current numbers are:

Mitch Aubusson - 176 games (27 years old)
Jake Friend - 148 games (25 years old)
Boyd Cordner - 81 games (22 years old)
    Shaun Kenny-Dowall - 186 games (27 years old)
Mitchell Pearce - 192 games (26 years old)

I think it is definitely possible for all of these blokes to play 300 games. Hopeuflly they will all be in our colours.

    Thoughts?

Pearce could go on to play 350+. I agree that Friend is also a very strong chance for 300.

And I'd also love to see Aubo and SKD to achieve it. Hopefully Boyd's body can hold up to achieve 250+.

Pearce could end up the most capped player of all time. It's kind of scary how early he started his career compared to other halves of this era. He's the same age as DCE and only a year older then Adam Reynolds.

Aubo is a legend, he's the type of bloke who's necessary in any top line club but never gets the recognition they deserve. He forgoes all personal pride & ego to do what's best for the side. He's the type of player who should have statues erected.

He should forever have a contract at the Roosters for as long as he wants it but I do fear when his contract is up next he might look for a more permanent position with guaranteed minutes and I certainly wouldn't begrudge him.

I don't think so. If he was going to leave he would have left at the last contract negotiations when St George offered him more money for a guaranteed position. We already had Boyd and Guerra on the books and possible sbw?

When did he sign his latest contract?

He didn't have a premiership ring back then.

I'm not saying he will, it's just a likely scenario.

It was reported that he rejected an offer of $350k a year from the Dragons back in 2013. He signed his new deal with us for $50k less. This commenced 2014.There are conflicting reports on the length of his contract.I have read end 2016 and also a 4 year deal which would see him through till the end of 2018

Just think if many on here were our coach the great SuperMegaResherveGraderBosden would be on that list instead of Maubs.

                  The FlogPen .

                  You know it makes sense.

I think only pearce and friend make 300.
Aubo would need to be here at age 33, don't think that will happen, same with kenny, it would mean both play 5yrs uninjured and 120 games straight, tough ask.

For some reason i don't think boyds body will last 300.
