why.???? his leap is gone due to always being run of the contested ball.
he can leap for a ball, safe under the high ones, can run when in space.can scoot (when hes not being uprighted and carried backwards)
he has first grade experience and gf time.

why take fergo out of his centre possi when that's what we bought him for.
take fergo out and put in maubs in ther centres, or do we slide skidys in and put nene on the wing.

we have the super leagues highest try scorer coming to our team next year to sit on toups wing.
so while latrell is learning the first grade ropes we have toups filling in and is also could be a utility wing fullback. and some one to fill in if burgess isn't all that he is cracked up to be and cant hack the pace of the nrl.
we don't have the coin to buy a rated fullback, and the one we have has had no first grade experience.
so its a mild reshuffle to last for 12months. OR Give latrell a preseason and he may just be a freakish kids from the beginning of his first grade nrl career and be the next best thing.

Mitchell playing a few games on the pick and swing next year and permanently in 2017

Then Horrie mk2 to 5/8 and Lattrell to FB

Who needs POS when you have the Pen!!
so was your judgement made due to the jnr roos had him at 1 or did you know he was a fullback. not bad considering he played a 5/8 role when attacking and defended a few bombs. swiched to the 5/8 for the remains of 2nd half in the Anzac test

IMO his leap is gone because every time Maloney kicks to his side the opposition take him out without the ball immediately (preventing him from getting into position.) If that fails they tackle him in the air and the refs end up saying 'tackled in goal' because they're a bunch of wankaz.

Unfortunately he's too nice. He needs to learn a bit of mongrel from Fergo. Part of Fergo's strength IMO is that he knows all the cheating tactics and gives people a shove before they consider doing the wrong thing. Before he got injured I noticed him doing this a lot as a sorta 'defence' against cheats while we're attacking. He'd push people back onside and push people if he could see them trying to obstruct him or his winger.

The refs won't penalise you for taking out a grubby offside defender who's hanging around trying to obstruct chasers, IMO we need to do it more often rather than complaining.

no mongrel at all, you are right.
when we bombs away, its like our chasers need to have a dozer to clear the path for the contestant to have a go at catching the ball. like for toupos side, maybe we have jenko taking out the block defenders and giving toups a fair chance of getting up contesting the bomb.

that's why trent just sets a great defencive line as a priority. no possibility of offside/infront of the kicker, no possibility of infringement of tackling the defender in the air, no chance of a knock on in flight in contesting the ball, and no need to duck and weave around dead duck defenders.

And another pet hate of mine is for the bomb.....even though I'd prefer not using it at all....not being high enough or shallow enough to allow us to contest.

              Hate it when that happens.

I'd pluck Braif out of retirement before I'd put Pussopou at FB.
