Surely this kid gets a run of the bench now with our lack of creativity from the halves.. Comes in for setu or Manu and squeez a few more minutes out of the starting forward pack.. Hastings coming on with 20min to go in tight games would add another much needed dimension to our attack..

Hastings may occupy the bench/utility spot if Maubs is out injured.

Yes, give him a go, we need to establish is he just another myth, or in fact does have first grade potential, and the only way to do that is watch him perform in first grade. There are numerous kids his age or even younger playing first grade with other clubs, so lets see what he has got. On the other hand if he is in fact a dummy spiter, then piss him off, they make shit players, and just disrupt the joint.

Was good as bench utility at the back end of last year. Provided a lot of spark from the ruck area when aubo came off for a rest. Made an awesome linebreak against the riff.Comment of the year:

With hooker Grant Garvey returning shortly, the make-up of the U20's team is going to be interesting.
5/8 Connor Watson (Souths junior) scored a treble last week and looks good in the number 6. They'll probably leave Jackson at 7 so not to piss him off, and have Lussick coming off the bench.

You can't drop Connor Watson. He is the perfect 6 for a dominant half like Hastings. Excellent support player, really incisive when he runs and is tough in defence. I thought it was 4 he scored on the weekend. Probably gonna be too small to ever play first grade but geez he's been impressive. A real confidence and work ethic about him.

Jackson has vision. I don't care even care what he does between now and first grade the kid will make it on that alone.
It is such a rate skill in NRL players these days but those who have it rarely don't make it.
I seriously hope we lock this kid up because he's the first half I've genuinely been excited about coming through our ranks since Pearcey

.
Lussick is head and shoulders over him as a player and leader.
I reality Garvey should not even make the 17.
