We need JWH in the pack for sure.
    Plays without fear or favour.

Thanks Horry for sharing that info and fingers x'd.

Yeh hopefully it is just a strain and not a torn pec. Which was what I feared watching the game on Fox when commentators said Jared was not going to take any further part in the game due to a pectoral injury I immediately cast my mind back to Gasnier's injury and I am sure someone more recently had one last year and was out for the season too. I had a dreadful moment when I thought, we are goneski's for the season. However Klein's performance convinced me we probably are anyway.

Hope you enjoyingthe trip down to Melbourne mate too apart from the loss....aiming to catch up again too Horry once I get back from O/Seas I will twist my brotha's arm for him to get a day or night pass too.

You don't want to mess around with pec injuries. They are truly devastating if you tear it. Gasnier is one player, but there have been a few others who've also had a full tear and its always the season. Even partial tears are 4-6 weeks easy.

Lucky for us we have the bye coming up after the dragons game so if he has only got the strain they are talking about he'll only miss 1 game.

If there is absolutely any risk of him injuring it more by coming back less than 100% though I would not hesitate to leave him out of ANZAC day. We absolutely need Hargraves for the season, much more important he is there come finals time at the expense of losing to the dragons

Agreed. While our season might look like it's on the ropes already, we're only just getting started and we've gome within less than a converted try of beating two of the best teams without a stack of key players. Add to that these have all been tough away games and there's nothing to worry about.

We'll start getting some wins soon (I suspect ANZAC day will be a big one, followed by a bye) and then players will start coming back.

We'll make the 8 if we keep playing like this for sure. Once we have a team where Fergo, Guerra, Friend, JWH and Moa are all in 100% form we'll start getting the wood on teams when we meet them at the SFS.

IMO if we play like we did tonight against the Dragons then they won't have a hope... that's with or without JWH. Napa, Friend, Evans, Cords, Maubs, Taukeiaho... then Liu, Manu, Setu and some other big bopper coming off the bench. I have complete faith in our pack if they play like they did tonight. We have awesome forwards (even without JWH, Moa, peptide boy and watch stealer) who shouldn't be scared of George Rose and Trent Merrin.

We just need to win, get some confidence back and then slowly seed Moa, Guerra, JWH and Fergo back into our squad when they become available.

Unlucky start but Robbo's right to keep cool, stay hungry and focus on what he can control. Even with the refs handing them match winning penalties, Brisbane and Melbourne wouldn't have beaten us if we were full strength... and that's your top 2 teams so-far right there.

Napa has stepped up this season when filling in for Moa/JWH and we looked better tonight with Taukeiaho playing big minutesand Liu coming off the bench in FRF. Strangely enough I think out of our remaining first choice middle forwards (Napa, Moa, Liu, Evans, Taukeiaho) I think it is Moa who needs to step up the most in JWH's absence

Well that's good if it is only a strain. We will miss him in the ANZAC game, this game means a lot to him because of his father.
                  Get better soon JWH.

I hope it's a strain because I watched the game again he he immediately grabbed for his pec and was holding it to support. Pecs tears are hard to identify because the pain is all the same whether it be a tear or strain or rupture. Let's pray!

I agree. We've only really had 1 bad game and that was against the sharks. I kind of agree with Robbo, we are on the verge of a streak and that's all we need. A 4 win streak and all of a sudden we're 7-4 and in the top 4. Take into account that cowboys and bulldogs have lost 3 games, panthers have lost 4. Rabbits have lost 2, maybe 3 tomorrow. We can still definitely make the top 4 but we need to start winning next week.

I reckon if we can find a fringe forward now would be a good time to sign him up.

Manu and Setu are really average and our front row stocks are looking really thin. Does anyone know what became of Stromquist?

GOOD NEWS for @sydneyroosters. We're told @JWH_755 pectoral injury is only a strain - expected to return after Rep weekend in Round Nine.

                                Finally some good news.

I had a horrible feeling it'd be for the season.
