I would have been a fan of either Friend or JWH getting the gig tbh.

Pearce doesn't seem like someone who can improve if given the captaincy, or at least his first 7 weeks has shown as much.

He was outright captain for the first 5 weeks .

That step he has is amazing when running at the line. The try he scored against souffs last year when he stepped through the line and ran past inglis was freddy-like.
