  • Meeting Players

    Hello Gentlemen.

New to the boards but have been a huge Roosters fan since 2000. Many fond memories of Fittler, Ricketson, Fitzgibbon and others tearing it up during the early 2000's. Moved to Perth a few years ago but currently back in Sydney visiting friends and family. I've decided to hit up the ANZAC match at Allianz and have a 2015 Jersey I'd like to get signed and frame for my man cave/sports room. I don't really want to attend training or anything so I'm wondering what my best chances are post match to get a few signatures?

In the past I've gone to the player exit at Allianz. Is this still my best choice? Are players happy to stop and meet the fans?

    Thanks in advance guys.

There will probably be a post match function you can attend. Ring the club and ask.

In all my years as a supporter I have never been to a post match function JT. Is this at the Leagues Club? How long after the game do the players arrive? And I assume this is a member only opportunity or can any supporters get in. I ask because I am a member but my 12yr old daughter is not. Although I imagine she could not get into the function anyway due to underage. Or is it an Unrestricted area (under adult supervision) ?
          Cheers mate.

JC, your daughter should be fine as long as you accompany her and stays out of smoking and pokie areas

I haven't been to one for years because I come home and watch the game again so someone else will be better placed to answer - but I will do my best.

It's usually at Easts but sometimes at Waverley Bowling Club. I am sure there are details on the website.

It's usually an hour or so after the game. Maybe a bit longer.

              It's not members only.

Not sure on the kids bit. I remember seeing kids there but you should check with the club.

If you haven't been it's worth going to one. And Anzac Day would be the one to attend because it won't be too late.
