Pocket refs are a proven failure and the idea should be scrapped.Go back to one ref and then have 3 experienced refs in the bunker with the video screens.

Surely they need a heads up about Souffs grubby ruck antics, both in defence and especially attack.

Everyone except apparently the refs can see what Inglis is up to in almost every tackle - crawling on his knees into the crotch of the marker and getting tangled, persistently walking off the mark to put the markers "offside" and running into them to be awarded a penalty, and just plain old dropping the ball and throwing his hands in the air.

Let's not forget Isaac Luke - he's every bit as good as Inglis. The very first set last night he ran straight into one of the markers and just dropped the ball - sure enough a penalty was given on the 4th tackle and a try soon followed.
My favourite is when he takes a massive step right or left as he's getting up, putting the markers out of the play. Then, as one of the markers follows him, they're usually pulled up for 'not being square'.

If it wasn't such a blatant rort, it'd be funny to watch.

        I couldn't agree more.

It's like he's playing Twister every time he's tackled. He entangles the first marker and then takes a big step either forwards or sideways to put the second marker offside.

That is of course if he hasn't already flipped himself beyond the horizontal to buy a lifting penalty.

He's a complete grub and what's worse he gets away with it every time. The refs lap it up.

I'm also certain that Souffs and Ben Cummins had a good belly laugh about these antics at Souffs training two weeks before he was unsurprisingly chosen to 'referee' our Prelim.

A scenario that would be viewed as scandalous and highly suspicious in any other sport.

Wondering why he wasn't charged for a shoulder charge:

            Actually, I'm not.

Because he does that cute goanna thing for the cameras! The game needs this so we must ignore such minor indescretions.

He finally lost it for me at the end of last year's prelim when Jimmy was setting up for Mini's final try and Ginglis shouldered him like some spoilt brat. I have never seen that in footy ever. Poor form.

He is a great player, but the talk of him being an immortal is ridiculous. For an immortal his defence at fullback is decidedly average, he misses a lot of one on one's because he charges at the player and can't slow down. Then there was Monday night when he fell for Granville's dummy....the no. 1 rule as a fullback is to take the man with the ball.
