He is full of shit.. didnt he just poach Dragons Trent Merrin for 700 grand a season? Im sure he felt bad for them too .Players come and go and players have the right to earn what they can .
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

Difference with Merrin is that he's been at the drags since 2009 and has done his duty now at 25. Roger has been a junior since 2012 then fg since 2013. Now at 21 his been developed to be FB and then comes this. His not saying players can't be poached but stating that it's a shame that clubs are left empty handed so soon. RTS is potential but doesn't guarantee anything, other than that.

As much as I hate the fact that rts is leaving I still understand the need for it. Or at least the need to shed players to keep him. We can't have everyone. As much as I love the club I couldn't watch every nrl game if there were only 2-3 teams that had a chance at winning the comp. Better shek going to the warriors then any other Sydney team.

You can't let sentiment and opinions get in the way of running a successful club, just because he's playing the game doesn't mean he can't have conflicting view points on the decisions he's forced to make for the betterment of his club.

            He raises some good points.

The statement a few columns in about 'Business' is dead right.

This is the difference between AFL and the league. We wouldn't know what half the players in the Swans are on but in league, everyone has a dollar amount tattooed on them.

                SUPER DRAGON!

Depends which club your talking about in that regard. There are some clubs who wear green and red and another club who wear white and blue who I cannot understand they way their cap works to fit in the players they have.
                  Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

I look at that souths team and only see about 4-5 players that would be on decent coin. Players like reddy, Goodwin, should be on about 80k.
