  • Toups back to Wyong?

Does anyone else think Robbo may decide Tupou needs to go back to Wyong until he learns to run harder and maybe get some confidence back? He looks absolutely shot to me. It was so noticeable last night how poor his hit ups were and how aware the Broncos were that they could take advantage of this every time.

As much as BR likes to stick with a similar team, personally I think if there was an adequate replacement there would be no doubt.
I saw Brendan Elliot warming up at Suncorp . There is Stapleton as well. Anyone else that may be considered for a run?

Well, he's off to Parramatta next year. Why would he be bothered this year?

Surely we have to have someone who can do a similar job.

          I'm free.
Not as tall as Toops, but my passion for the club , combined with experience should cover me until I get sent off.

I don't think he will, if Macdonald was still in reserve grade then it'd be something worth thinking about but reality is the replacement could quite easily do a worse job.

Whilst he's not contributing to our yardage he's at least not a liability, teams aren't exposing him defensively and scoring tons of points down his edge so I think we'd be crazy to swap him over with an inexperienced player.

He's always been prone to struggling against teams who hit him low and hard given his physique and I think teams have finally figured it out. Just about him going away doing some video, working on his game and getting some confidence back.

All this talk about him not giving a shit because he's off to Parra is nothing but speculative tears. Get over it, nothing's been announced yet.

I don't think at all he is not putting in coz he is off to Parra. Being at the gameFri night gave a real perspective of how soft his hit ups are. It's not just about him being too upright and allowing the defence to get under. He is not running at pace. He is loping up to the defensive line. For some reason he just looks to have lost all confidence. Maybe the fact that the Roosters are considering letting him go due to salary cap is having a negative impact on him.

And I get he is not a liability in defence, be he is actually a liability in attack. He always gets driven back. That first or second hit up has got to be more effective otherwise it effects the entire set. Maybe he needs to change his running technique in that situation. Get his body lower on impact.

Based of experiences with some past and present players, it is never a good idea to sign a player who plays for a contract. If the talk of him going to parra is true and he doesn't give the same effort as last season then we should give a youngster a go.
                        Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

Who has confirmed he is going to Parramatta? No one. Just that halfwit Walshie and a few Begurkian trolls. He needs a spell somewhere though. His form has been ugly.

he is even disinterested in warm ups. his body language is woeful. when at the raiders game when doing his warm up run thrus and catching the ball no effort shown whatsoever.
