  • SST - pushing for a starting spot

Sure he came up with a coupe of errors last night, the second one I can put down to fatigue because I'm pretty sure that's the longest minutes he's played this year.

But geez he's been good. If not now a couple more performances similar to last night and I don't reckon Robo has a choice but to start him.

14 hitups for 138 metres, the best of any forward in our team last night.

    If I was Robbo I'd be running with;

    8. JWH
    10. Napa
    11. Maubs
    12. Cordner
    13. SST

    14. Liu
    15. Moa
    16. Evans

I really rate Liu and it's not so much a demotion just that I think he's better suited coming off the bench. His big strength is his footwork and mobility, have him coming on after 20-25 minutes and all of a sudden up against some tired defenders he suddenly becomes a whole lot more effective. Moa's just had a poor start to the season and it should be seen as a demotion, it'll be a good place for him to find his old form because in 2013 & 2014 he was by far our best and most consistent prop. I love Moa and love his aggression but he just seems to be off his game slightly, not sure what it is.

I actually don't want to mess with our bench. They have been immense. It's the first time ever I have actually looked forward to the changeover.

100% behind you. sio was a monster in the second half especially. he and napa took it to the drongos tired forwards. I think by the end of the year he will be 10

Wouldn't surprise me if the Warriors sign him.

Thankfully Manly are too stupid to go after him, but he's exactly what they need.

            Agree.

Dropping Moa to the bench may also help him reassess things.

He is also missing a few kilos. He runs hard, but is easily stopped in his (little) tracks.
