  • In Robbo We Trust ???

I Have full confidence that we will be there come finals time however i think our attack needs and overhaul , we arent asking enough questions in our attack through the middle , I looked at a game Id saved on my IQ from 2013 our attack and offensive structure has not changed its exactly the same power game through the middle looking to get a fast roll on and bending the line , the big point of differnce then was SBW his ability to attract numbers to him in his hit ups meant that there was room to ball play at the line when he was attracting 3 men in defence , Currently we dont have a prop or 2nd rower who has the same ball playing ability as SBW did , therefore i beileive that the pressure is firmly on robbo now to make the nessacery adjustments around the ruck to ask the oppositions defence more questions , going in 2s and 3s with rodger pushing up in supports is the only way thats going to happen , personally im disappointed that he hasnt done the nessacery add ons to our game plan already this will be a true test of his coaching ability remembering the amazing roster we had back then , considering the resources we throw into our squad surely this is his biggest test , On recruitment we have recruited poorly if our 20s sg ball and harold matts results are anything to go by , if we get 2 or 3 major injuries to our starting line up we could be looking at struggling to make the 8 time will tell

This is something I have to admit I forget about. SBW might not have been quite as freakish in 2014 as 2013, but he opened the park up for our outside backs massively, i think we saw glimpses of ferguson doing the same before the injury, absolute kick in the balls.

As far as injuries go, if we have any injures in our backline we are in serious trouble. People seem to (bafflingly) be keen to show pearce and maloney the door, well either one of them gets injured and who fills in the halves? you'd have to think hastings is undercooked at the moment. Even more troubling thought: what happens if RTS gets injured in the next few weeks, I literally wouldn't have a clue who'd be playing fullback the next week. SKD? Tupou? Sign Braith on a 6 month contract?
I support two NRL teams, the Roosters and whoevers playing Souths
