I agree, that is concerning. Goodness gracious the Roosters played dumb and Robbo says that was a good performance? That will do me, unless of course as others have said in the past, that Robbo doesn't sees pressers as the place to remedy defects in the team.

I like the fact Robbo highlights an issue but has a solution such as remove referring such incidents to vidiots. Also I liked Pearce asking the ref whether Milford should go to the concussion bin. Smart thing to do, especially on a televised game. Sure that was rehearsed.

Remove the emotion out of it if you were coaching against the Roosters wouldn't you do the same? I would, lay down, get in JWHs face, it's all up for grabs when you play easts. Bennetts no fool the refs just follow the script.

No but "we're the nice guys. We don't do that." Yet they keep whinging why we don't get penalties in favour.

Bird is well known as the biggest milker in the game. He has no pride. Did you see when he collected a kick and then went down holding the back of his head like he had been shot? Replay showed he was slapped across the back. Nowhere near the head.

The whole thing is a blight on the game.

I think that if you stay down for a penalty you automatically have to go off for a concussion test. At the end of the day they are feigning concussion when they do it.

I said this last year. In the modern day game, honour gets you nowhere. Robbo is kidding himself if he thinks refs won't be fooled by players laying down.

I kinda think easts are at the crossroads, do you go with the flow and lay down or do the honorable thing and ride out this fad, a fad that has been going since 2007 by all reports!
I'm starting to think the former cause even or no penalties we could smash any team in the comp.

For me the worst offenders are Thaiday, Ennis and Bird.
And I admire JWH for always getting to his feet. Only time I have seen him stay down (and that was crouched on his knees) was the 2010 semi v Tigers when he got smashed at the end, leading to the now infamous FPN scrum win. And just as a little side Trivia, when that game was on I was doing a gig out at Bathurst. The venue had TVs at the back of the room and when SKD took that intercept I was halfway through the guitar solo to Jump by Van Halen, whilst trying to watch tv and not cheer on SKD. 😀. Will never forget that moment.

Freddy said 'your not always concussed if you get hit on the head' like if you cop one on the jaw, you're in pain but no concussion.

What about Ennis in that game last year. Stayed down like he had been shot. And bounced back as soon as they got the penalty. Then had the hide to say that he stayed down because he was worried about his neck.

Absolutely my most hated player ever.

...but lets him self get too easily baited. He was the Bennet target and they got what they wanted from him .
Weve had 3 losses all marginal not at our best.same a slast year same a syear before. No surprise to me .Its what we got at the n end that counts and at least cement a top 4 possie.

Also feel I dont think Pearce is coming along to crash hot as Captain..yet anyway. Game had 9 minutes to go 18-12 up he shouldve put it to bed.

The power game plan since 2013 is no longer working via our forwards we are slow in many instances and with the proposed changes with substitution the game will only be faster on the back of 2014 and 2015 changes where it will be all about speed and mobility not size and power often shown by the trend of Polynesian packs.
