  • 3 reasons to not give up on 2015

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_Sy...Regular_Season
    Rounds 4, 5 and 6.

Robbo made no secret of the fact his number one goal last year was to peak at the right time of the season, something he was 2 weeks out from achieving. We have been very ordinary so far this season, but we were this time last year as well. The season is not over, not by a long shot. We were 2-4 this time last year and ended up minor premiers, it's a marathon not a sprint.

Keep the faith. In Robbo I Trust
I support two NRL teams, the Roosters and whoevers playing Souths

    Agree witty.

    Premierships are won in October.

Yes, but our application for basics is all year round and our kicking game still sux!

        Hmmmm.

        Dunno.

When Toupo's being carted back over our in-goal in the last quarter of another semi final...

Unfortunately I think we have roster problems. Too small across the park.

Rubbish. We have a pretty damn big pack. Our side is not small at all

We have an "attitude" and discipline problem at the moment. These guys aren't putting in in defence and are dropping off too many tackles. The only time this year so far we have come close to looking good in defence is Round 1. Ever since round 2 we have looked shit-house in defence.

also have big doubts about our fitness

I don't disagree with your comments regarding the importance of peaking at the right time.

However, last year when it was time for us to peak and blow teams away (or win the close ones) we could not. This comes from habitually:
            making mistakes,
            Giving away stupid penalties
Not coming up with the right kick
It's like the old saying, 'if you don't train right, you don't play right' well if you are making the wrong choices week in week out come finals time you aren't going to suddenly be perfect.

Boring same game plan every week and players not playing to their ability and the team knows every week they are going to get shafted. The refs won't allow us to play to our ability and I find Robbo 2013 tactics in 2015 questionable

I find our style of play very rigid. We have a fair bit of attacking potential but can't seem to unlock it with the right plays

if you have given up on your footy team after 6 rounds of footy then I don't know what to make of you.

                  My three reasons are

                  Jake friend
                  RTS
                  Robbo

They are keeping us in this season.
                  Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

I have no doubt we still desire favouritism for the premiership.
We put our attack away last year as well. Why give teams a look at what we have now.
Put Guerra and Fergo in the team and we have the most formidable team in the comp.
Providing we are healthy in September only the refs can stop us like they did last year.
