I am not even going to bother responding if you want to go on with that "o wise one" bullshit.

In fact, I think it's time to block you.

Carry on managing our cap for us - and being our moral compass while you are at it.

He should be defending on the wing!
Hopefully the coach will see it soon.

Matt Scott & Tamou re-signed for around 600k under the new salary cap at their peak as International reps.

Unless you're a game-breaking forward and that's pretty rare reality is salaries for middle third forwards really haven't gone up that much. JWH wouldn't be on anything close to 800k, crazy talk.

The only prop worth 800k per season would be Jesse Bromwich. He has "greatest prop of the NRL" era potential. I'd consider George Burgess for that amount, too.

JWH shouldn't be close to that amount as he's not in their league.

No prop is on that kind of money.

Nobody would waste such a chunk of their cap on a prop. Especially Melbourne as they have to accommodate the big three on about $800 each.

Actually some clubs (Parra and Canberra for example) would be dumb enough to pay that for a prop. But we certainly wouldn't.

Paul I am sure a smart man like Robbo is well aware of Maloney's inefficiency.

At his peak, Gallen would be worth that much. He's a great player.

Tamou's peak lasted about 5 games 3 seasons ago. Scott re-signed at the start of 2013, with a salary cap that was $1.5 million less than it is for 2016 and with the cowboys having to account for Thurston's $1 million plus contract. Scott, and all cowboys players, will always have to accept unders if he wants to stay at the cowboys while ever Thurston is there.

I didn't say JWH is on $800K, I said he'd be close enough to it. Close enough that having another player in the squad on $800K wouldn't cause huge waves of jealousy ripping through the team like it was suggested.

On current form and future potential, RTS absolutely deserves to be the highest paid player in the team. Next rung on the pay ladder would be Pearce and Friend in equal measure, then JWH a little bit behind them, then a handful of players hovering around the $400-600k mark. When you look at the complete lack of depth in our squad, and the enormous drop off in talent and/or experience that exists outside of our starting 13, you can see that we clearly have the lion's share of our cap space being taken up by the top 10-12 players, with the rest either on development deals which are going to force some tough decisions at their next negotiation, or fringe contracts just getting the minimum or a bit above.

Great at hogging the ball, making mistakes and getting his stats up.

Gallen's reputation as a great player has grown hand in hand with the popularity of fantasy footy leagues like Supercoach.

Similarly, Supercoach is one of the key reasons why a player like Mitch Aubusson is criminally underrated

But no different from all the others who have no clue as to how to manage the cap and say pay this player X and go after that player for Y.

I asked someone that does know before stating that RTS on $800K would be our highest paid player.
