  • You people call yourself fans?

90% of the people on this forum are shitting on the team for yesterdays performance. We must have watched a different game because I saw a team give their all for themselves and us, the fans

There is obviously a big difference between the team that played at the end of last year and the team that's playing now. The key play makers have lost all confidence. Our best player is suspended and the forwards aren't firing.

We played the benchmark of the past 2 seasons and kept up with them the entire way. Hell we should have been up at half time except for some tactical mistakes.

Its in tough times we need to stand by the boys the most and not just bitch and moan about how crap they all are, because at the end of the day, the boring and negative comments being repeated over and over and over here is the real disgrace.

As I said to another poster last night, you support them your way and I'll support them mine. It doesn't make either of us "better" supporters than the other.

Eveyone just deathrides the team so that when we improve we can all be happy, and if not the pain would at least be numbed.

There should be a disclaimer somewhere on the forum that assures new posters that no matter what, we're all Roosters through and through.

We praise what can be praised, which was the defensive effort, and we'll blast what needs to be blasted.. ie the halves

It's a forum for discussion, what value is it if we can't have negative comments? It was an improved performance yesterday by some but there was regression in terms of playmaking

You were definitely watching a different game to us.

As fans we are entitled to vent our feelings, especially when it's constructive criticism. Most of the analysis by the posters here have been close to the mark.

Maybe we should sticky this thread? After a loss, sure enough someone will come out and question fans support in a thread such as this. To save time and space, we should sticky this.

I agree RB...you make good sense. We should support our team despite how pathetic, stupid, idiotic, money hungry, lack of talent and pissed heads they are.

The loss was predicted prior to the game so there should not be any real surprise. I think though it was an improvement on what we have seen, especially in the conditions and against the side we were playing. But hey, I have been married for 18 years so I look at any positive I can get....

My "The wall" join date is 2005 and have been around here since last year.

My point was sometimes effort should be noted by the people around here - the boys put in, they just weren't good enough.

I'm ashamed to suggest that our halves lacked creativity and had a rubbish kicking game

When the team wins then people are little more upbeat BUT it always comes with a BUT.....I agree with you though, we cant win every game but it was a decent effort yesterday.

Not to get all dramatic but I've been following this team for a long time. I've suffered through the bad times, with the team going shit and having players who just didn't give a damn in the squad and enjoyed the successes with a team of players united.

I mean for Freddy's sake, I traveled to Melbourne and Brisbane to watch games where Brett Finch was our main playmaker.

So I don't need a fly by nighter to tell me that I'm not a fan if I choose to say that I think that some players are past it and others are not putting in.
