Roger Tuivasa-Sheck: Matthew Johns expects switch to be ‘expensive mistake’
As much as I want him to stay, I think he will go. His already expressed his desire about going home. Unless we can mount a great offer somehow, I don't think he will change his mind.
.Roger is a very talented young player +the current roosters line up and coaching are first class. There is a magnifying effect for individuals that comes with that equation.
Look at the games when our team is off its game and even the brightest stars in our teams are reduced to a dull glow,
I wish Roger the best but when you look at our best 17 that is a quality club side - it is a great place to play footy at,
The club will not engage in a battle to sign Roger "Nickname" Tuivasa Sheck with the Auckland Warriors and will continue to build a healthy and strong team rather than surround one or two star players with lesser players as the Parramatta Eels have tried to do in the past with Jarryd Hayne.
I have a feeling that he may be booed at the next home game.
Perhaps it's a good thing where not playing the Broncos at home this Friday night.
Actually there's always a strong contingent of rooster fans who attend up there
Normally the left back corner
I can see Roger standing the right back corner most times
I wonder if Bennett is smart enough to aim the attack towards the left

Bennett doesn't miss a trick and we know how much he loves our club.
I think Matty Johns does have a good point here. Who knows what RTS could've been had he stayed under Robinson and the coaching staff at the Roosters. It's amazing that he's only 21 years old given what he's achieved, is achieving now and the regard he is held in. There's still a lot of his game that he can work on, he's still yet to develop a ball playing side to his game and I'm not convinced he'll ever actually improve as a player at the Warriors.
When you look at the talent that the Warriors have had in their fullback stocks over the past few years it's amazing that they've never been able to lock someone into that position. Even their most recent crack at buying Sam Tomkins has been a failure because they haven't been able to develop him into a player who can handle the week to week grind of the NRL.
Shaun Johnson is another great example, possibly the most talented player NZ has ever produced but still so many flaws in his game that have existed for years. Konrad Hurrell, another great talent who's had some serious flaws in his game since he entered top grade but they've never been able to eradicate it from his game and the progression of them as players can largely be credited to first grade experience and natural physical progression not great coaching. These are flaws that every half and centre deal with entering the top grade but seem to be able to add some polish to or at least be competent in that area but the Warriors have a track history of failing and letting talent go to waste.
It's amazing how much talent they have in their backyard and we see come through the 20's system every year but their development systems never seem to get them up to quality of First Grade. It's almost comical how all the Australian clubs are falling over one another to sign a young kiwi forward whilst the kiwis have to resort to paying top dollar to sign a forward who was developed in Australia - Jacob Lilyman, Ryan Hoffman & Bodene Thompson. 3 out of their 5 starting forwards.
The saddest part about this all might not be the fact that Roosters fans never get to see RTS in our colours again beyond this year but perhaps that Rugby League will never see what RTS could've become.
Either way I will enjoy watching him and Shaun Johnson together next year, just not anywhere near as much as I would've enjoyed watching him in the RW&B.
