I still don't think it's over. Maybe the boys at the top didn't realise how serious the move was? Wouldn't be surprised if maloney was now moved on and Hastings was brought up to keep rts. We still have until round 13..

Maybe not yet, but could of been a very good investment.

It will be hard to judge him at the warriors because of their random and erratic ways that they play the game. Only time will tell.

Yes potentially he can be great but so was Pearce, Anasta and any other potentially great player that came past and hasn't. The vermin forum must be having a field day reading all of this. Wake up everyone!, season is not over and you're already playing 2016.
I have now found the thread I wanted to do also.

I agree 100%, reading some of the tripe today you'd think Freddy had carked it.

              Man up you dickwadds.

              Farken a billion smileys also.

                Very good point brother.

I am unsure of what players actually earn and feel the papers are way off, both directions, mostly.

But giving such a large portion of your cap to one player is a massive risk IMO.

Where has it got the Cowplods???

Thursthead has very little around him, he literally has had to put his body thru a pile of steamers every week cos he IS the Cowplods.

And they still struggle to get over the line and probably won't this year.

Someone like Lockhead hid among some greats for most of his career. It allowed him the luxury of ending on his terms, with rings galore. Although it must be said there are rules for Waynekerr and The Wankos and rules for everyone else.

Purely on the percentage of cap 800k eats up I'd say that's a huge risk, one I'm glad we didn't get into.

Big loss but he will have to earn every cent back with The Bros.

I wonder was he advised on what staying loyal to a bloke like Uncle Nick can mean for a human.

Like JTs boy, Mini. The bloke is the farking mayor of Bondi.

My post isn't about loyalty to Easts as such, players have a short shot at a career, I begrudge no man that huge hike in salary.

I just think he could've written his own ticket had he played the loyalty card at our club and signed for whatever we offered.

Kinda short term pain for long term gain.

But hey fair farks to the kid. I am still gonna enjoy watching him play the season out in our colours.

We won in 2013 in spite of him.

I take it you don't mean last year's trophy? Perhaps you didn't see the Cows and Penrith semis?

You only have to see the first five games this season to see how much more Roger brings to the table. Try comparing how the sets get rolling when your fullback can get you some forward momentum for a start.

There is no doubt that his failure to retire at the end of 2013 cost us Roger's signature.

The club did not have the cap space to pay him that sort of coin. The club, coaches, mini, robbo have taught roger many things unfortunately loyalty to a club that has given you everything was not one of them. What do we do now?Who knows but i doubt that Mitchell is anywhere near 1st grade standard yet he will have to be brought along over the next few years like roger was.Make no mistake roger has f**ked us over.I reckon privately Uncle Nick and the club would be very very pissed off.

Yes but we have no right to blame him. Just doing his best for his family. However it's very short sighted. Fittler is a multi and its not from what he was paid to play football. Our club brings things to the table as far as investment and after football that no others even come close to.

His manager, who used to be the Worriers Football Manager, is one very happy camper.

By far the biggest loss I can remember. Maybe since Terry Hill, but that was another story. Biggest loss since Rod Silva?

                        What a total balls up.

He's worth a dozen Mitch Pearces. He's the future of the club.

Surely some of the responsibility for this has to sit with Trent and POS.

                        Disaster.

We need to hit back and sign an X factor player. I still think ferguson was a while away from his best and now he is set back again we might not see his best until middle next year. We can't wait for Mitchell and we need to an immediate replacement or we will be worse off next season.
