  • Kennedy - Legend

Well done man.. put myself through looking at the highlights of the match and you can see the passion on his face when trying his best in vain running the length of the field to attempt to catch Creagh.

    Our next captain.

One man who gives a damn is MK. Pity his passion isn't contagious.

Yep. One of those few players around with a bit of ticker. Myles is one, Tolman is another and so is Hindmarsh. There are others but they are very rare. These are they guys who you can build a side around.

Although he fuked up, with that ponse Creagh getting the ball, the chase to try and fix his mistake was awesome.

Where were our slow backs to give chase?

His reaction behind the tryline as Creagh scored the try, showed the passion that some of his team-mates DON'T have!

Misterrrrrrr Kennedeeeeeee........ the ONLY highlight to a crap 7 rounds for easts.

Kennedy has a heart the size of Phar Lap and should be signed for life.

I also like the look of Arona, he looks like a pretty skillful player.

My wife actually brought that up about our side. She wondered about how much the players care about Easts judging by their reactions to a loss or a try. They are very jovial (in comparison to other sides) after a loss and they NEVER fire up after a try. Isn't Kennedy a long time Easts supporter?

Reminds me of BJ. Skillful but not a first pick second rower. Maybe Smith will put him on the wing.

I noticed that last year actually but never brought it up as the side was going good, so i thought it'd have no real merit. But it feels like the side is not all that really close off the field? (apart from certain smaller sub-groups) or am i completely off the mark with this one

Today during the anthem and last post, our players had there arms behind their backs or behind their sides. In contrast the Dragons had their arms around the players next to them. Sure it's no big thing but imo little things like that do count within teams

Very impressed with Big Marty, showed alot of pride in himself and in the jersey.

he put his heart on his sleeve today and dispite the result, he put up a close to man of the match effort !

he was playing the game right to the death.

JWH was another right behind marty. jared was really playing with heart, doing what he could to create the go forward and really make a mark in defence, but not in a stupid way !

i have to say, i was impressed with the forwards today, they did their job, they dug in and kept us in the game.

The dragons backs won them the game, we were on top of their forwards, our backs could not match the dragons.

big props to the props and 2nd rowers !

I noticed that too and thought that spoke volumes about the chemistry of this Roosters side. It is NOT a good sign.

Totally agree Mario, I though Kennedy, Myles, JWH and Arona in particular were great. Aubbo and Conn also tried hard and Mose made a couple of big runs.

i don't know if this was done on purpose, but it looked like myles was targeting Weyman all day and won the battle ! Myles was always there when Weyman had the ball and always had his number.

                          Myles got players player.

Even Conn had Weyman as his target. They have history.
