  • Is it just me or is Cordner struggling in defence ?

He has been a bit quiet in attack but I've noticed over the past few weeks that he is making some pretty poor choices in defence.

I can't say I've noticed that TBF and now that you've mentioned it I'll take more notice. What I have noticed is the increase in ineffective tackles by the team as a whole. The "Bondi Wall" went missing yesterday.

He let Bird through for the first try.

He only seems to play well when the halves are going well.

He's an asset when we're winning and ineffective when we're losing.

And Napa let bird through for the last try but then the guppies shouldn't have had the field position if Pearce hadn't knocked the ball on from the kick off. This is why I guess I can't single Boyd out because I see similar things being done by other Roosters.

Cordner has been good at times this year. Guerra worries me a bit too because he seems to look stuffed all the time.

It was definitely a team effort, and not the good kind.

Guerra gets to rest for a month or so now, it's in bad circumstances but it may help him long term.

Nah on your own there, his game against Penrith in particular he was awesome in defence, pulled off some great shots.

He does have to do a lot of covering and protection work for Maloney.
