McIllwrick is arse, but has lots of FG experience. Bringing in HorJu to spell an underdone Friend would be dumb.

If Friend is ready, they'll play him off the bench with McIllwrick starting at Hooker and Maubs starting at BR. If Friend goes down, Maubs to back-up Hooker.
Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

I would expect Friend to use up 75 percent of the time - I am not convinced that Matt McIlwrick offers as much in the shorter stints that Hastings does – short kicking and running /plays out of dummy half.

If they are going to ease Friend back in with reduced time I would go with McIlwrick

I assume Friend is a week away.

            Willie Manu in again.....hmmmm.

Nothing against him, but it's a sure indicator that we're lacking depth.

Adam Hartigan has named his side for this Sunday's Holden Cup clash with the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium, with the Head Coach forced to make some changes to the side that recorded the Club’s impressive 68-6 point win last Sunday over the Cronulla Sharks U20s, due to injury and player unavailability.
Under 20s Captain Paul Momirovski has been named to make his return from injury in the centres, with Taane Milne shifting to the back row in place of Vincent Leuluai who is unavailable due to a thumb injury.
Richard Skelton enters the starting side with Samet Erten named on a five-man bench.
Roosters NYC (1-13): Latrell Mitchell, Charlie Taylor, Joseph Manu, Paul Momirovski ©, Johnny Tuivasa-Sheck, Connor Watson, Jackson Hastings, Poasa Faamausili, Joey Lussick, Richard Skelton, Taane Milne, Piki Rogers, Nat Butcher
Bench (14-17, 20): Nick Newman, Sukamanu Raki, Ryan Turner, Samet Erten, Shaq Mitchell
