The kicking today was very ordinary from both 1/2s.

Obviously the tactic, mostly bombs, but today if they went thru the hands just a few times I reckon we pull their pants down.

The chase which is usually our strong point was down today also.

Roo, from memory that game had the stink of being fixed. The Roosters gave up a tidy lead to lose the game. Given it was Craig Fitzgibbon's final game for the Roosters, it was a travesty he had to go out on such a result. That's what I recall.

Bingo. I was going to name that person but didn't. Such an ignominious way for Fitzy to end his playing days. The day mason left the Roosters was a good day.

I was still saying he's not a creative player just a support player. Still saying it. Not going anywhere. Staying consistent.

And whilst he had good games against the Panthers & Raiders if we're being serious he wasn't MOTM in either.

Stubborn and an absolute refusal to ever admit you're wrong is another.

You seriously think we shouldn't have signed Maloney? We don't win a comp in 2013 if we don't sign him. It's that simple. He was the best 5/8 in the comp by a mile that year. 2014 was average; as it was for the majority of the team. And so far in 2015 he's been very good, but for yesterday.

Without him we'd be a fringe top 6 team because there's not even close to a decent replacement around for the 5/8 spot at the club right now. So i'll cut him some slack after one bad game.
