You don't know why we still have him in the team?

You think Pearce's kicks were any better?

He looked concussed. Give him credit for being courageous.
Not his best game. You also need to consider quality of the chase and impact of the blockers

I have heard it all now. He shouldn't be in the team? Going on that theory neither should Pearce or any forwards.

They were crap today. But u don't drop them after 1 poor game.

And the fact our forwards were totally dominated. They were weak as piss against a side that thrives on it.

Maloney looked exactly how he always looks when he's asked to create points, poor...... putting in kicks on over laps, cut out balls over the sidelines and just fails to ask any questions of the defence.

It's not his fault though I thought he tried hard tonight it was the players around him who let him down. He's a support player and relies on the pack going forward as much as any other half in the game. He just had absolutely nothing to play off tonight and was forced to go away from what he's done so well at his time during the Roosters - playing within himself.

The same can be said for Pearce to an extent (I thought he managed to ask a few questions with his running game and still distributed well) and we've seen so many similar performances from Pearce in the past where he's asked to create points and puts in absolute shockers. Especially at Origin level, it's why I always harp on about having creative players in your side. RTS provided that spark but there was no real support from the rest of the spine. It's the type of games where a Fittler, Carney or SBW would've lead us home, can anyone honestly say I'm wrong?

Our forwards were totally dominated and the refs murdered us. We did well to be in touch with ten minutes to go.

We have players that can win a game for us - Roger and the two centres for a start.

                Unfortunately it didn't happen today.

I'll defend Pearcey till the cows come home however i think that was his poorest club performance i've witnessed.

No offense intended but you must not have been a Roosters fan for long then. I've seen infinitely worse than the team coming within 8 points of winning after playing like complete and utter dross for 65 minutes.

Check back to scores in the late 80s/early 90s. Or ask someone old about 1966 when they didn't win a game.

He was worse in that infamous last round game against Cows in 2009.

                            J.T., don't bring that up...Sharks at 5.15 on the unfettered/unchecked Sportsbet.

I think 10k is the limit on bets before they check. 9999 times 5.15 is close to 500k. Nothing to sneeze at.

Whats the late 80s 90s got to do with Pearce?I'd say i've watched pretty much all of his 1st grade games and can't ever recall seeing him perform so poorly.
