You just knew that last pass was going to be called forward. Also fwiw i didn't think Pearce's pass was forward either, even though he made the wrong call by taking on the full back i still think it went back. Add to that the missed 6 again call when we were on their line, the numerous strip penalties every time they dropped the ball plus the total inaction over Fifita's play the balls - they are seriously bordering on a joke i can't believe (oh actually i can) that no action was taken.

I noticed that from Fifita. Doesn't even try to make it look like he plays the ball. And Gallen never stands square when he plays the ball.

I agree that Pearce's pass was forward, but Cronulla had about 4 or 5 blatant forward passes not called today. It's absolutely disgraceful the leg up that some teams get whether intentional or not by the refs.

Out enthused today. They were prepared for a grind and we expected a walk over.
No good blaming the refs fellas, that loss sits on the players and the coaching staff. Never got out of 1st gear and there was no real plan B. The mid field bomb is only as good as the chase and ours was non existent.
P.S hurry the **** back sandwich hand, zero creativity around the ruck is killing us

Besides that...our bumbling, fumbling, dropped ball first 60 mins of the match was very poor football.

Big waste of time having 30 minute warm ups on the ground...wears the players out, obviously.
They play a 30 minute warm up 'match' then go inside and sit down...and come out with '1/2 a gun' blazing....and bumble and fumble around for most of the game.
Time for change.
Wonder what they did all week at training?
Whatever they did/are doing needs changing.....or they won't be winning many more matches.
Sharks had all the moves...up the middle and on the last tackle.
We couldn't make effective tackles, and our last tackle kicks were 'useless'.

This loss is on the coach, he treated the opposition lightly and the players took that on to the field.

Sorry dude but i don't agree with that at all. Robbo was in the media all week warning against complacency and the like. Sure the intensity wasn't great however the composure of some of our key players was woeful. Pearce and Maloney to name a couple, both completely lacked composure and leadership. Horrible decision making by both is not the coaches fault.

they likely did the same at training since 2013. same same all the time routine as too our game plan, a hail mary bomb whilst getting caned by the refs. i have seen little variety in our play. we have no depth in attack around the ruck and slow forwards.we need speed and mobility. I was at the game and it was woeful whilst a guarantee cummins the ref and sports bet played a part in the final score.ever since the the sports bet partnership refs are getting the blame for poor decision making and performances which is a complete smother for the nrl/ sportsbet partnership which clouds results. the pr exercise of refunding punters moolah on bets from 1-3 point winning margin for the scum vermin game is what it is.
