expecting a tough and rugged opening to todays match, the sharks will be fired up due to their poor start to the season, if we can compete early we should have enough class late to take our rightful position on top of the ladder.

after a pretty poor first 3 weeks to the season our NYC boys clicked at halftime last week and well and truly run with it today leading the sharks 36-0 after 32 minutes.

not surprised those calf strains can be 3-4 week injuries, he did well to get through 30 minutes last week after hurting it in the warm up, only question now is who takes his place.

he is playing NYC today, only played a couple NYC games this year after a interrupted pre-season, he is not NRL match fit yet.

Evans/Taukeiaho/Manu will be very strong with ball in hand off the bench but they need to make sure they are tough in defense, the bench rotation will miss that defensive starch that Napa provides.

Kennedy would be handy now, hopefully he's allowed to play again soon. Moa and Napa will have to take on a bit more of the workload, with Evans also getting more minutes

I think the game will be won on the edges though our backline is far superior, as are our halves.
