well match day has finally arrived, will be tough as we have been handed the toughest away trip in the comp first up.

good to hear the boys are looking for some revenge after the smashing we copped up there last year.

all indications are we will be 1-17 as named with Kennedy/MacDonald dropping off the bench

its already 33 degree's at 1pm local Townsville time so it will still be scorching hot by kickoff at 8pm local time, at least it looks like the forecast thunder storms might stay away.

looking forward to seeing RTS making his fulltime debut at fullback after a full offseason there, also looking forward to Fergo/Taukeiaho making their debuts.

we have the talent to win, will be a matter of which side plays closest to their best.

Keen to see how RTS handles FB, I thought he played well in the three games he played there in 2013, especially in the Sharks game.

I think Fergo will have a big one too, he'll be rusty but regardless of that he can still be a match winner.

If we're to win though the forwards have to lay the platform and Pearce has to continue his form, a 2013 Maloney would also benefit our cause.

Tough match conditions for the boys. Should be a good test for the forwards. Imo the cows will win but should be a good tight match.

I am getting ready to go to the field it is a stinker , sweat dripping off me , but it will be worth it.
I am expecting a tough tight game Cowboys are primed the expectation on the street is high - they want it really bad, but this is footy if want it and can put the home town crowd and the weather out of our minds and focus on the task we should win in a boil over.
That is because all the experts are backing the Cows for this one and some are saying this could be the GF pairing as well - tonight we will know
