  • How about that!

An average bench player who only joined our club (Watts) has just put our club back in the dark ages for a few years.

Yes I agree that statement is a bit extreme but if it wasnt for his call to Carney on the weekend, things would have been a whole heap different.

    What a ****er!

His girl is from the Gold Coast - why couldn't she have insisted on going there?

He didn't add it to our game but he sure added it to the club.
He was a little grub when he was here the first time he hasn't changed much.

being a bit of a grub on the field can be a good thing but obviously off the field in real life being a grub gets you put in jail

I get the feeling he won't be sacked. Maybe suspended until it all plays out in court.

How many players have gotten away with hitting a female in the last 2-3 years?

Watts is gone, and there'll be no waiting for the trial

Your post sounds authoritative and that makes me ask you how you can be so certain?

Watts is a nobody. Much like Bird he might be able to avoid conviction if he convinces his ex not to testify. However, unlike Bird no other NRL club will want a bar of Watts.

It is a fait accompli Watts will be sacked for 3 reasons. He's expendable, he's been charged with a criminal offence and his sacking will satisfy the milling throngs of media morons that we have acted.
