  • The best way to change the headlines.

It now seems obvious the Watts will be sacked and Carney will be retained, probably suspended. That's probably the right call considering he did nothing against the law. But that's not the point of this thread. The best way we can now turn all these headlines around is to kick start our season by beating St. George. With or without Carney we have the talent in our current squad to put them to the sword if we follow our gameplan and play smart footy.

The early weather forecast looks like it will be a relatively dry track which means that should we get some ascendancy the razzle dazzle we try may be enough to put Saints on the back foot. It's ANZAC day which as we all remember was the scene of out clubs 1000th victory, the first and so far only club to hit that number. Let's put the past behind us, get behind the boys this weekend and change the perception of the Roosters. Winning cures all wounds and with the obvious work being done behind the scenes to clean up our culture by Noyce (who has done a great job since coming here IMO) and a team that should be galvanized by recent events we can reach the same highs as last season.

Hell, im flying in from the Gold Coast and will be making my Chookpen debut!

Roosters until the day I die. GO EASTS!!

Mate, I promise you EVERYONE is reading the headlines right now.

Hell, Noyce said he read them to help in his decision making process this morning.

... is to cut the cancers at the Roosters.

Winning on the field will only go so far. I'm tired of the Roosters being in the papers for all the wrong reasons. I want to read about how well they're playing, how they play consistently and with heart, win, lose or draw. That is what I want to hear.

More like as long as the deluded Melon Head has juice running through his seedy veins, he'll be protecting little Johnny after he starts fires in class

He'll be blaming anyone, oh anyone, but Johnny

He'll blame the groundsman for reporting the fire

He'll blame the fire brigade for not getting there quick enough to put the fire out

At various times, he'll claim that there was no fire at all

He'll blame the education system, for something or other

He'll compare Johnny's latest fire with other fires, in order to try and make this fire look less...fiery

He'll suggest the fire brigade, the school, the groundmen, the teachers and the country in general all have a personal vendetta against Johnny. And a vendetta against fires.

At various times, he'll claim fires are actually ok, and shouldn't be considered a problem

He'll even find a way to blame his arch nemesis, his juice bar brother Buzzy Boy

Among all the the things that Melon Juice Bar doesn't understand, of which there are many, the one that stands apart from all others is that Melon Head Juice Bar is simply unable to comprehend that his delusions actually harm firebug Johnny, rather then help him
