Mini is a shadow of the player he was. His miss on Copley for the try was pathetic. His restraint in not falling on the loose ball that lead to JCarney loosing it for another try was pathetic. His failure to intercept the rolling ball that lead to yet another try, again pathetic.

He does not deserve a contract extension based on his past only his present, and his present is pathetic.

I honestly don't think people understand how the cap works.

Every team in the NRL will have some stars and some blokes that can do a job (which Mini still can), it's like people expect to have the farking Kangaroos run out for the Roosters every week.

We can't have Slater at FB just like the Storm can't have a superstar at centre (well this year anyway). The Broncs have Lockyer, Hodges and a heap of quality forwards so they have had to take a risk with some kids. We have to wear some mistakes from youngsters and keep some veterans that get the job done the same as anyone else.

I have a beef with Anasta playing because he probably takes up a HUGE portion of the cap and doesn't bring a lot, but guys like Mini, Graham, Perrett and BJ that probably don't take up huge dollars and have been copping heaps of flak that train hard and put in without the BS shouldn't be bunched in with guys that may have more talent or be at different stages in their careers but choose to piss it away.

I agree Phantom I dont think Mini is dogging it as some would say. He gives 100% every time he plays. I actually thought last year he went pretty well. This year has been a bit hot and cold but so has the whole team.

That was a Mac Dougalltackle against the vermin , i dont see how it was a Roosters thing, the only thing Easts done was kept renewing his 300k contract in the hope he would get back to his best.

Mini dogged it on saturday night, maybe at his stage in life he just didnt want to be there, it was obvious, in previous weeks, yeah he maybe tried too hard, but not Saturday night.
