As for my support of the Dolphins I grew up in Brisbane when the brisbane comp was the one everyone supported and watched up here. Courtesy of my dad I also supported the Roosters in the NSWRL. When the Broncos came in I could never give up my allegiance to the Roosters but at the same time will always love the Phins.

I can't understand why people cannot express their thoughts without having others jump on him for not being 'loyal'. I too wished I never followed any sports because I hate losing, unlike my muso friends who don't have to suffer, but I do and the Roosters are 1 of two of my favourite teams I follow(the other being a soccer team) and I could never switch to follow another NRL team but understand the frustration of Dolphin of not only losing a game like we have done for the past two weeks and then being embarrassed by the players that represent the club.
Dolphin, you do what you have to do, and if you leave now and come back back when things get better, you have every right to do so. Your still a fan IMO.

You say you kept your allegiance to the Roosters when the Broncos came in, but now that we are having a bad run and a new Brisbane team MIGHT come in, youre going to switch?
Just because youve been on the website or supported the Roosters for a long time doesn't mean you have 'RWB in your blood'
If you were a true supporter like you say you are, you wouldn't think twice about supporting any other team, especially if they aren't even in the comp yet.

is that I am really considering walking my support away from this club. Now most of you will say "go on go then?" but the point I am making is that I have supported this team the best part of 35 years but I am ashamed of the culture we have developed and ultimately the club we have now become. In fact if Brisbane get a second team my allegiances will probably go there unless there are changes made.

As I said most of you probably wont give a fark what I do but I can see a lot of supporters on here are fed up. I want to support a club that I am proud of....one that I can wholeheartedly say I support.

LMFAO..... relax my friend. It was a post on an internet forum portraying my dissatisfaction at what players over the past few years have done to disrespect our once great club. Disrespecting guys like Fittler, Stehr, Brown, Messenger and co. As for maximising impact isn't that what you do when you write something....try and convey your feelings so others can understand where you are coming from.

Nobody is saying they are happy with our recent off-field actions. All we are saying is that no matter what happens on or off field we will ALWAYS support the Roosters.

Those that know me know I will never support anyone but the chooks. But when I heard this story I had had enough of all the crap. As I said I am sick of players disrespecting our club. Lets face it we are the joke of the league. Not even the Bulldogs are below us

Not dillusional at all mate. I doubt any supporter is happy with what has happened this year. Same as 2009 when Mason fcuked us up. We are a club that has more ups and downs off the field than any other. But as I said, I would never consider not giving the club my 100% support. The players are not bigger than the club. At the moment we have one or two who don't deserve to wear our great jersey.

We all know losing sux... this most recent finding sours things even more and tramples on all our hopes!!! Who else was thinking "oh in a few weeks Perrett, Carney (full form), Guerra and Watts will be back!!! So we can dump Piggy, clean up our act and start kicking a$$ again!!!!" I was and it's farked up not only being smashed by the ponies, but also having off-field dramas (that will hurt us on the field and reveal a $hite culture still exists.)

This season could be worse than 2009 and I'd still be a Roosters fan. When we win our next GF (which WILL happen in my lifetime) I'll look back to this rot and it'll make me proud that I was able to stick with the club through pretty well everything. The club is about us and the people who work hard to make us win. The club isn't the farkwits who disgrace our colours or go off supporting the Dragons coz they are winning more games...

Dragons are that way... ;p I heard they're finding some better form. Just don't come back crying when they fall apart next season and the cracks start showing.
