This guy seems to have flown under the radar but he has to take a fair degree of responsibility for recruiting these turds who repeatedly disgrace our colours. It is not as if they were angels before they joined the club, they had well known reputations... Why on earth is he still here?

Why blame him? He was Melbourne's recruitment manager for years and their squad manages to stay out of trouble. It's not the recruitment manager that has got the problem. It's the players and the culture at the club. Melbourne has got one of the most well-disciplined sides on and off the field in the comp. We don't.

hilarious, you do know he was one of the names mentioned that had knowledge of the salary cap fraud. He did sign AJ Taumata there who lasted about a week.

What's your point? You talk about "recruiting these turds", yet you need to use the salary cap scandal, which he was found innocent of any involvement, to further your point. Idiot.

POS is recruitment manager, largley responsible for signing kids. Do you think Watts would be here if B Smith didn't want him?

I think your barking up the wrong tree

                  Yeh, this.

It's not the younger players we seem to be having the problems with.

He handles the youngsters. We haven't seen the effects of his recruitment yet. I suggest you learn what role he plays before hanging him.

Watts is all Smith. Sack him.

POS was busy last night and unfortuantely could not babysit Watts and Carney.

No way should he be sacked, he is the best recruitment officer in the NRL and his record with Melbourne speaks for itself. Look at the amount of depth we have playing for Newtown/20's. We have some of the best young talent around playing in the lower grades, all because of O'Sullivan. It's not his fault that players he brings to the club may be involved in off-field incidents, he can't hold their ****ing hands for them. His job is to identify players that should be brought to the club for their footballing abilities only which he has done to the highest order, if their is a hint of a bad attitude about that player than that should be the boards job to deal with by either not offering the player a contract or placing certain restrictions in his contract.

there was a thread four weeks ago praising POS's recruitment.. lol

and no i don't place any blame of this on him, this is not his job. His job is to search for talent that will fit in place of the dynamics of the team
