We get toweled up by the Saints we're 2-7

We splutter along for awhile going WLWLWL and staying outside the 8

Carney and Pearce don't get selected for Origin 1/2 because of average form and injury etc and NSW lose series 2-0

Pearce and Carney get selected for Origin 3 and NSW win and they're hailed saviours

This newfound confidence propels them to stellar form and the Roosters to an '09 Parramatta and '10 Canberra end of season streak

Our structural flaws in attack and defence remain unresolved and we get bundled out of the final series by a stronger defensive team...St George/Melbourne/Brisbane

We are not premiership material this year and we were never going to be. We got lucky last year, with a overblown run to the finals, with a one in a hundred field goal and a one in a thousand intercept to make it to the semis. We came up against a woeful Penrith, belted them, came up against a woeful Titans, belted them, then came up against the real deal last year and got belted. That's the quality and discipline you need to win a premiership, not what we have now. We are still years away from a premiership. I said we would come back to the pack a bit this year. At this rate we won't make the finals.

St Merge will deliver the last rights next Monday,we have a team of bigheads who think they can live off their pathetic effort in last years grand final. They have partied long and hard into the summer and now we are seeing the results.St Merge will murder us next week,cant blame the young kids in the team,it's the senior players who have their eyes on their next pay day who are the most dissapointing.

WE are only stabbing the ones in the back that deserve it. Carney doesn't make the difference between catching a ball and dropping it, making a tackle or not and giving away stupid penalties. The team has to play to a first grade standard with him or with out him, if the boys were a little more controlled in their decision making we would be giving teams a lot more trouble as we are now we are no chance..........Carney or no Carney!
