You could break both of Pearce's legs and you'd still have a better halfback than Finch - the **** cost us at least one premiership, if not two.

If you reckon Pearce was bad then what about Anasta, he was god damn invisible except for his kick offs. The guy offers nothing to the team except wasting a chunk of cap space.
Captain Invisible strikes again. The keep Anasta petition was the newest form of the old Nigerian scam letter and the Roosters and their fans have "done their dough!!"

Comprehensively outplayed by his opposition. What annoys me about Mitch is he has a decent boot on him but doesn't want to play for field position. I rarely see him trying to force a line dropout to sustain pressure.
He wears down our forwards by going for the all-or-nothing play every single time

Unfortunately Pearce has been touted as the next great NSW halfback. He's not Andrew Johns bootlace.
Johns could win a game on his own. I watched Johns as a young kid, and Pearce looks like never being anything close. I'm wondering if he will ever be as good as Lam ! Will never ever reach the class of Hastings.

I am one of his biggest fans, I even had him as Dally M player of the year, but Pearce is not delivering and fast becoming a short priced favourite for overrated of the year both in playing terms and being able to hold a simple conversation. Why do Fox insist on interviewing "UM ARH" after every bloody game? His appearances on Fox are cringeworthy.
At least we won't have to worry about him being absent during SOO, although there was a time that would have been thought off as a good thing.
Chook.

I'm a bit disappointed in his progress as well...he has now had several years in 1st grade and he's missing some key ingrerdients for a top line halfback or should I say he hasn't developed his attacking game as I hoped he would...
I'm comparing him to a few young halfbacks having their 1st or 2nd year in 1st grade and they have shown more flair in their game in attack...good kicking games...good passing game whereby they are directing attack very well and pushing the ball to where there are hole runners and holes are appearing...
They are reading the game better in attacking terms than what Pearce is...
Bear in mind they too have the pigs hitting the ball up etc etc...yet they seem to have another facet to their game when in attacking positions...wether it be a pass to the right side of attack or a good grubber or bomb...
HE is monotonous compared to them...
We need Carney or we're an average attacking team...

Locky took that game last night by the balls.
Carney not there last night was an opportunity for Jnr to step up and show he's not a wanna be.
That said, Anasta was also really quiet and the penalties & errors had them going backwards.
I'd like to see more creativity from Jnr, like taking on the line more, keeping the opposition guessing and not the mandatory bomb on the 5th.
