"demanding"- yes, "disappointed"- yes but also "passionate", we just seem to express that passion in a overly negative manner after losses, ironically, it goes to show how much we love the club, even if some are calling for the heads of players, deep down they just want them to play to their potential, it hurts us all to see our players play poorly

        One Word describes the team

        Young

Along with Brisbane the youngest 25 man squad in the comp

We should be satisfied if we make the finals we are a few years of our best with the current squad

very true, but like the broncos our youngsters are very very good youngsters, as we saw last year they are capable of things beyond their years. Experience and a cool head under pressure are the only things they lack (as we saw with bj's game on the weekend, the bloke dropped a lot of ball and made some poor decisions in defence- we don't see a lot of this when we're ahead or when the whole team is defending well, but with the pressure of chasing points and an poor performing team he couldn't handle it and only time can cure that).

I don't think making thew finals should be our only goal, we have the same team we did last year and this year the rest of the comp is playing a lot poorer (so far atleast), there are only 2 or 3 real stand outs who you can say will definitely be there at the business end (storm, dragons and broncos) and then there are the 8 teams that can make it (bulldogs, knights, tigers, roosters, cowboys, warriors, sea eagles and raiders). The rest (sharks, rabbits, panthers, eels and titans) i don't believe will feature in this years finals.

So we really only have to do half as well as last year to just make the finals, but i reckon if we play as well as we did last year (which in theory we should be more than capable of doing) than we can again find ourselves amongst the last 4 teams standing come semi's. Now after that stage, we'll find out how much we've improved since last (if we have at all ). My prediction (and i know it's early in the season) for the teams to feature in the semi's: dragons, storm, roosters, broncos.

              Hungover.

But that could just be me.

In all seriousness, I think we're all frustrated. Our inconsistency is a pain in the ass.

i think dissapointed is a more apt description, dont forget these are people who outlay a substantial amount of money on members passes a, merchandise and travel expenses to follow their annointed teams! im sure there were some who bought a return to ticket to auckland for the game, plus hotel cosdts, match ticket cost etc.. is it anywonder they would not be mightily pissed of at such a performance by supposed full time professional well paid footballers?

Dare I say that's not bad for a Shot in the Dark. I suspect you're Right on Target, Your Aim Is Straight.

There you go, not often Belinda Carlisle and Joan Armatrading get mentioned in one post.

It could be worse. I was in Canberra when Mal scored a hundred tries against us... now that WAS the lowest point.

And how good is this: ringtone from 1975!! Schubert at his best!!

                            Loyal.

The way our team gets treated on the field it's a miracle there are any fans left.
