The 2008 season has finished and the 2009 season looms...

Where do you really think we will finish in 2009 on the ladder?

tbh, i'm not too positive about 09; yes we will be more experienced as a whole.. but the latter half of 08 suggested bad things for 09 imo.

I think we'll finish 7th.

Freddy needs to change his game plan.

what is there to look forward to next season?

we've lost Toops(at times was basically our only half on the field) and Amos(might not be too great of a loss) and gained .. basically no one

people still shout the name Ryan Williamson, but an 18 year old comnig back from a kneww reconstruction... i'm not so sure

Actually, if we finish higher than Souffs and the Dogs I will be happy.

I'll second that, I don't think we will finish as high as this year, 6th-8th would be a good performance given the drop in roster strength.

I think we can finish as high as we did this year during the regular season.

Really out of the 2008 season, everyone we have lost is replaceable with players that we have on board.

we have a forward pack that is strong enough to make room for the halves, we now have a halves paring that has played a full season together and a backline that actually does have pace, just are in need for room to move and some early ball.

Our game plan and adaptability will be more our key, rather than our players.

I feel we will finish the regular season 1 to 2 places higher and be in the playoff for a Grandfinal spot and if we make it anything is possible

I think were sitting just as good as Manly and Melbourne, both have lost key players
Manly - Won't be the same without Beaver
Storm - Losing thier main go to guy out wide in Folau
Us - Lose Toops

The difference with us is we have Sa and Cherro ready for 1st Grade to Cover our loss and FPN straight in for Shillo, SKD straight in for Amos
Manly also lost Williamson, Bryant and Afamasaga as well as Bell and only picked up Shane Rodney to cover Back Row
Storm look as though they'll move Inglis out wide and Taumata in 5/8 with Chambers in for Geyer, but they also lose Crocker, Smith, Tagataese and Kaufusi

I'll go for 1st knowing we dont have a side were a handful haven't played a full year of 1st grade before as like last year

Not sure where we will finish but towards the end of last year we did not know how to score points[apart from Amos against Manly].
