I don't think that's going to work either.

Apparently, the judge stuffed up. There is no provision in law for a suspended gaol sentence for what was a low range drink driving offence:

"Magistrate Jacqueline Milledge has amended the sentence imposed on Todd Carney, who pleaded guilty to drink driving.

The Sydney Roosters star has received a good behaviour bond for 24 months and not a six-month suspended jail term.

Ms Milledge said there is no provision for a period of incarceration on the low range drink drive charge."

I'm a little confused now. If there is no suspended jail term, what happens if he has another low range drink driving charge in the next 24 months apart from possibly having his contract torn up (which I doubt Uncle Nick would do anyway)? Assuming it happens once he gets his license back of course.

              EDIT:

"With a section 10 (1) (b) discharge he will not lose his licence but his rehabilitation is paramount."

So now he has no loss of license too? I hope his luck continues atleast until the frst week in October.

she couldnt goal him anyway, thus had to give him a section 10 which means he still has his license? lucky boy, now his mind can be fully on footy and rehab!

What a joke... I wonder if she will threaten herself with 6 months for disrespecting the justice system.

Well if that fine upstanding Gonif Momser Marcus Einfeld gets two years for doing it, she should get some time.
