I thought he was quite good. I think slowly slowly will be the way to get the best out of him. He'd be the first player I'd drop for next week, but he'd be just about the first player I'd pick for an injured forward. Between him, Tasi and Symonds, we probably should be aiming to get 10 games out of each this season.

          Very good debut.

Always had pretty big wraps on him, he can go back to dominating Reserve grade though for the next few weeks. He's got a bright career ahead of him I think.

Great debut. I agree with the undersized statement. I see him as more of a backrower.

very solid debut, will probably miss out this week with either FPN or Ryles likely to come back in.

would love to see Smith give the likes of Tasi/Arona the odd game this year to gain experience as judging by Ryles form this year he won't be around next year and we need to test out our depth to see how their are developing.

Agree. He has a good work rate, nice footwork and can unload a pass. Similar game to FPN. I think lock would be his spot. He has had a taste for FG and knows where he needs to be.

Smith has a knack of getting the best out of Polynesian players. He cleared the dead wood out of Newcastle and unearthed the likes of Zeb Taia, Vuna, Junior Pau etc into 1st grade. Now he seems to be doing the same thing with us .

He looks like a 1st grader to me.

He made some good runs and threw a perfect pass to put Carney through a hole, also defended well.

                        Great debut,he looks the goods!
