  • todays team must stay!!!!

as much as i rate kane linnet and think he belongs in a red white and blue, the team today looked a lot better than in previous weeks. More to the point conn and symonds need to be in the side. ryles and riddell out.

Aubs possesses the tackle breaking ability that Linnett seems to lack atm, as well, he adds much valued starch in defence out wide. Besides, we can't afford to have Maubs and Anasta both in the 2nd row, so i think its a pretty decent move tbh.

Conn and Symonds should def stay and agree that riddell should be replaced by FPN next week

I would like to get FPN in there somewhere but Ryles can go to the back of the queue completely.

maubs needs to stay at centre, he looked great out there, whichever edge he's on teams will have trouble scoring there. myles and ryles should drop to the back of the queue imo (sure they were great last year, but they are starting slow this year, maybe a few weeks out of the FG team will be just the change they need).

symonds, conn, mose, FPN, kennedy, JWH, riddell and friend look the goods. Then bring in a few younger blokes (arona, tasi etc.) to fill in the bench spots

Myles has had an indifferent start to the year, but he's one tough footballer, and he hurts people. He shouldn't and won't be dropped.

symonds, conn, mose, FPN, kennedy, JWH, riddell and friend worked well today and should be rewarded for it. Then bring in a few younger blokes (arona, tasi etc.) to fill in the bench spots
Right , get rid of Myles, a QLD State of Origin player that has started a little slow. If anything is needed is experience. The young ones can join the queue and wait till someone is injured. I'm sure there will be some opportunities for those fringe young players. As for Riddell, are you serious? Next week security will be asking for his ID to make sure he is supposed to be on the field.

I could not believe Aubusson did not even look to pass to his winger when he made that break today. He got to the fullback, a simple pass and JCarney would have gone over untouched and instead Aubusson went himself.

He is a great hole-runner, but a centre he is not.

What the hell happened to Linnett anyway? It's an absolute mystery to everyone apparently.

I think it was more of an attitude change than the change of personell.

We actually attempted to play high percentage football and were prepared to defend our line.

The performance was an improvement but in all honesty we should of put 40 on that side.

They had a lot of their big names out and played like shit on top of that.

I still don't think we are able to grind out a win against a well drilled side - a must for a premiership contender.

"a little slow"??? that's the understatement of the season! what exactly do you think embodies "experience"? stupid penalties? drop ball? skipping like a little girl in attack? besides his defence, he really has been off his game the last 4 weeks - origin player or not that to me just isn't good enough! he just doesn't look as enthusiastic as he did last year

I know riddell has been hopeless the last couple of weeks but he was alright this week, i liked it when he and friend were both on the field, i know once watss is fine he's gonna be out of the FG side, but we should get as much out of him as we can now.
