Lama Tasi named in the Toyota Cup Team of the Year
Manly Warringah Sea Eagles forward Lama Tasi was yesterday named in the NRL’s Toyota Cup team of the year for 2010.
Tasi, who made his Under 20’s debut for the Sea Eagles in round one of 2009, has scored 13 tries for the Manly club but is best known for his powerful running style.
Having made in excess of 2800 metres, Tasi is averaging more metres per match than any other Manly forward.
His powerful style has also led to him breaking the defensive advantage line, averaging more than ten and a half metres per run.
Tasi was at his running best on Sunday against the Roosters as he produced an instrumental 175 metre game on Sunday, also scoring two crucial tries in the vital win over the Sydney club.
His tireless work in defence has also been a key in the Sea Eagles success in the past two seasons, averaging 28 tackles per game this season.
If everyone think Cordner is ready then I think this kid is more ready for an NRL gig.Last edited by BUDDY; 03-23-2011, 10:34 PM.

Mose and him taking hit ups after each other would be awesome.
