How long until the 50/50 calls actually go 50/50???

The refereeing was indeed inconsistent yet again......but we are labelled an "undisciplined" team and are pretty much ****ed for the 50/50's for the season due to it.

The refereeing was shit for both sides, we got a fair go.

There was a penalty we got for a Manly strip that was very, very harsh.

Last week it was our ill-discipline.

This week, we just couldn't hold on to the ****ing pill. That first 10 minutes was straight out of a 2009 highlights package.

Yea we had some sh!t calls today, but I listen to the Sports Ears and the refs called out the players everytime they blew the whistle for someone being offside. It sucks coz you can see the penalty coming when you hear the ref go "14 YOU'RE OFF!" and he makes the tackle.. *shakes head*

I thought thats was laughable !

Considering now they want players to play the ball on the mark, play the ball with the foot, seems they are being very pedantic now about correct play the balls ....yet a bloke plays the ball facing the sideline, something that has always been penalised (even during the blase period) and its allowed to go unpunished and results in a try
........ that left me scratching my head ??

It was the worst play the ball in the history of the game.. After BJ got penalised last week for accidentally kicking the ball forwards, this one was facing the sideline...

I hope the refs learn from this one, i mean like you said hawkeye, they are being pedantic about playing the ball, yet the player was not facing the correct direction while playing the ball.

The Refs, as a whole, so far have done a good job and have been consistant, possibly the melbourne game yesterday and our game today have been the worst of the lot regarding consistancy.

in the end, we did not respect the ball enough. We looked dangerous when we had opportunities, but we did not respect the ball enough and deviated from the game plan too much......that is what cost us today
