  • We have some...

players who have been reading their own press and think that all they have to do is walk on the field and everything just happens. There are seriously a number of players simply not putting in.

And yet one of the guys who did put in last week doesn't play today.

I hope Brian gives some of them a wake up call. Good to see him hook a few before the end.

They don't read the press, they are in the press. If you flick on any RL show, or read any press there is always a Roosters player on the show, or story about a player. The only ones getting anything out of this is Steggles.

I wont be surprised to see Symonds back next week and even maybe Arona?
Smith did say he would drop anyone if they have poor discipline.

Don't get too excited, he's not going to drop Braith & Myles.

If this club got no press, we'd all be whining about anti-Roosters bias.

If this club didn't promote their players in the media, we'd all be whining that they're not doing enough to attract fans.

Can't have it both ways. One loss against a very gritty Manly team - let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Yeah, but the problem is they believe there own hype. I agree it is only a loss, and we will more to come, but we have our heads elsewhere more often than not.

Yeah but will Smith keep his word, or trot out the same offenders with their dumbarse plays dropped balls, across field running the list goes on.

I agree with this. And, in truth, I thought it was v. strange Anasta was on the sideline last night before a game.

But I like the fact we are a visible, transparent club whose players are well known.

Complacency, however, is clearly a huge issue.

Who do you suggest? Nate Myles

So having our face on every TV show or RL story is only feeding peoples egos. Lets face it, we have a young side who think that they play for a glamour club, and there is an underlying problem within the club.

How long before it rears its ugly head?
