What did Pearce do wrong except set up our two best attacking plays in the first half. Andrew Johns would of looked shit with that many dropped balls we were playing out of our own half for the majority of the game.

Carney was lot worse than Pearce today.

Lets face it, we handed them the game in the first half.

To manly's credit they beat us with heart. We gave them a sniff and watmong and foran rallied them.

Their attack was ugly but they won it on the back of their intensity.

I thought pearce and linnet had good games. Jwh and mose were my pick of the forwards.

Skd pulled off two of the best tackles you will see on williams. the rest of his game was garbage. He was close to tears on the bench. Back him for a blinder next week.

No I wasn't suggesting that, and I think it's very worthwhile criticising the team. But once we all calm down we will realise that the Roosters are still a very talented team with an excellent coach, but today, we were complacent and Manly were gritty and very good.

yeh but it wasn't just today, against souths we fell off lat and were very lucky to get the win, and all of last year we had the same problem, sure it's "only one loss" but its one we didn't have to have. We're way better than what we showed today and last week, so why aren't we seeing it on the field?? Who's to blame? smithy? or is the blame on the players completely? despite what many think we have had a poor start to our season and it ain't gonna get any easier when we come up against a red hot bulldogs side...

I agree, and I believe that when the Roosters come up against the big clubs with Carney firing, we will see that quality on the field.

I was very frustrated with today's performance and it is worthy of criticism, but keep it in perspective. We lost by 60 last year in round 3.
