  • Mose Masoe

Thought he deserved his own thread.

Haven't watched the replay on TV yet, but from a live perspective, he was immense. Ran hard, and straight, and the so-called best forward pack in the NRL didn't want a bar of it. They were shitting it every time he came near the line.

If he gets his fitness up, and can play 60, he will dominate.

Someone earlier this week said we should lock up Big Marty for the number 10 jersey, which is undoubtedly true. But once Ryles moves on, make sure that 8 is there for Mose, because he'll be in it for a long, long time.

MK and MM had monster games.

I'm actually dissapointed that Kennedy's second stint was during the period where we had no ball. The way he was going he was going to rack up 120+ metres.

With each run, he looked like he wanted to hurt some one, with each tackle he looked like he wanted to hurt someone.......

HE WAS JUST A HURT MACHINE !

I love his posture when running the ball. Bent over like a neanerthal...has cave man instincts.

            Clone the man !!!

              Totally agree.

Tbh South's bench is rubbish though. I haven't had a chance to watch a replay either, and I'm not quite sure who was on the field for them when Mose was doing his damage.

I don't think that's terribly important. Smith will always pick stamina in the second-row and plenty of front-row interchange. He loves his impact props. Masoe is hopefully on his way to being Smith's next Fui-Fui.

Good comparison. Like Fui Fui, Mose dominates through his size strength and personality when he comes off the bench.

He is a big lump and knows how to use it. Blokes don't like standing in front of him when he is on the charge.

He dropped the ball on the first hit up after a try that totally changed momentum. Apart from that he did great.

Mose and JWH got us on the front foot when they came on. I love the way he smiles after a huge run or big hit, he really enjoys himself out there.

                    Chook.

Time to "Set Loose the Moose".

My 14yo son is a massive Titans fan, but he was watching the game with me last night, and every time Mose got the ball he was yelling "Go Moose". He particularly likes the fact that everytime Mose makes a big run or puts on a big hit, he gets up smiling.

We were both hoping that Sandow would try his little mans shoulder charge, and that Mose would swat him like a fly. But then we remembered that Sandow does his best work when the man is already on the ground.

Mose had a great game!! I was so excited when I saw Mose and JWH on the sideline getting ready to come on together... Opposition must hate seeing these 2 operating in tandem

I hope he stays injury free, he didn't get to play many games last year. I like the way how Smith used him as an impact player, the way he destroys the opposition in both attack and defence just lifts the team. He will dominate once he gets a substantial amount of game time under his belt.

[Edit] I absolutely hate how the Ch9 commentary team call him "Masoi" its "MA-SO-E"!!!
